Using WhatGenius
Integrations and Connected Apps
Last updated on April 2, 2026
Overview
The Apps section lets you connect third-party applications to your WhatGenius workspace. Integrations allow external tools to interact with your workspace data — for example, syncing contacts from a CRM or triggering campaigns from another platform.
Before you start
- You need the view_apps permission to see the Integrations section.
- You need the manage_apps permission to add, configure, or remove integrations.
How to view your integrations
- Click Apps in the left sidebar.
- The page lists all integrations currently installed in your workspace.
- Each integration shows:
- The app name and icon
- Connection status (Connected or Disconnected)
- The date it was last synced
- Actions to configure, disconnect, or delete
How to add a new integration
- On the Apps page, click the button to add or connect a new app.
- Browse or search the available integrations.
- Click the integration you want to add.
- Follow the authentication and configuration steps shown on screen — these vary by app and may redirect you to the third-party service to authorize the connection.
- Once authorized, the integration appears in your list with a Connected status.
How to configure an integration
- Find the integration in your Apps list.
- Click the Configure action on its row.
- Adjust settings as available for that specific integration.
- Save your changes.
How to disconnect an integration
- Find the integration in the list.
- Click the Disconnect action.
- Confirm the action.
Disconnecting stops the integration from syncing or sending data. The integration entry remains in the list in a Disconnected state — you can reconnect it later.
How to delete an integration
- Find the integration in the list.
- Click the Delete action.
- Confirm the deletion.
Deleting an integration removes it from your workspace entirely. To use it again, you would need to add and re-authorize it from scratch.
Tips & things to know
- Integrations are workspace-wide. Any team member with the view_apps permission can see them.
- The specific data an integration can access depends on the scopes granted during the authorization step. You can review scopes before confirming.
- If an integration shows as Disconnected, it usually means the authorization token has expired. Click Configure or re-authorize to reconnect it.
